We are very excited to have launched your new money transfer service!
You can now send funds from your ACU Everyday or Savings account to a National Bank of Samoa (nbs) account using EziSend.
For a special introductory fee of $8.00 NZD per transaction^, you can transfer up to $5,000 NZD per person, per day.

- Check the amount you want to be exchanged and transferred in either WST/Tala or NZD using internet banking
- Funds are transferred in New Zealand dollars and deposited as WST/Tala

Helpful tips to get you started with EziSend:
- To use EziSend you must have an account with ACU
- To open an account you can call us on 0800 240 200
- To receive funds the recipient or payee must have an nbs bank account
- If you’re first transferring funds from a third-party bank to an ACU account, be aware that external transfers may take up to 3 working days depending on the bank
- The maximum amount that can be transferred via EziSend is $5,000.00 NZD a day
- Each EziSend transaction will incur in a flat fee of $8.00 NZD to be paid by the sender
- In addition to the transfer fee a currency exchange rate will be applied. The NZ Dollar amount will be converted to Samoa Tala at an exchange rate set by The Central Bank of Samoa plus an nbs margin. This rate is calculated daily.
- EziSend transactions are sent by ACU to nbs within 30 minutes
- Once the funds have become available, nbs customers can access their funds by visiting their local nbs branch/ATM, at a Digicel or Bluesky agent or by using the nbs ExiBank app
- When transferring funds using EziSend, you will need to provide the recipient's full name
- For fund transfers between $1,001 and $5,000 you will need to provide the recipient's full name and address

^In addition to the transfer fee a currency exchange rate will be applied. The currency will be converted at an exchange rate set by The National Bank of Samoa. The National bank of Samoa calculates its rate of exchange based on commercially available rates plus a margin. This rate is calculated daily.
